Geocache Description:

This is one of a group of caches that are placed along the route of the long disused elsenham-thaxted railway line. This beautiful rural line was built under a 'light railway' order and ran along the roads and fields of Elsenham, Henham, and Sibleys before terminating at Thaxted.

This was the point that the old railway line crossed Chickney Road before heading across the fields to Sibleys station.
