This is another very sneaky hide! Don't give up!
To access this cache turn onto the public bridleway in the hamlet of Oldmill (Trail head marked as a waypoint). Remember to look after our countryside; there's really no need to remove any foliage to find this cache. Read the hint carefully if you're stuck!
Please note: if you are attempting the whole series, we believe the difficulty to be 3 and the terrain to be 3.5 Much of the route is very easy going along country roads, but the bridleway sections are sometimes steep and rocky: you have been warned!
This series of caches will take you on a walk of 3.75 miles, along a public bridleway and quiet rural roads in this beautiful part of south east Cornwall. Please give yourself up to 3 hours to complete the route, and go prepared with stout footwear, plenty to drink, and a pen / pencil and paperclip to remove the logs from the containers.
These caches are 'sneaky hides', in hard-to-find containers! Have fun looking, they are not in difficult places, but the containers are not what you may expect them to be!
We suggest you park at the waypoint given in cache 1, but please be careful crossing the road. Parking closer to cache 1 is possible, but can become congested at times and we don't want to upset the residents of this quiet village. If you have the time, why don't you try the "GeoKids Kit Climb" series from this same parking spot?
