Geocache Description:

The CLPT, the Crater Lake Power Trail, is a series of 50 small caches starting at the intersection of Highway 97 north and Highway 422. The route heads west on Highway 422 to Highway 62 and then goes north on Highway 62 for about 16.8 miles.
All of the caches originally planted are plastic test tube containers with a log only. You will need your own pen or pencil and there is very little room for trade items.
* Start with low numbered caches & work towards higher numbered caches.
Be careful, this road isn't super busy but it is still well traveled.
Probably not a good series to have small kids or pets roaming around.
If traveling at night, watch your speed.
Please drive very carefully while participating in this Geocache series. There should be an adequate pull off area near each cache location. We don't want truck drivers and the general public complaining that vehicles are stopping on the road in blind spots and/or pulling out in front of fast moving traffic causing near misses. This is very dangerous and may result in someone getting hurt and/or this entire series of geocaches being archived.
Above all, have fun and enjoy the cache series.
Team MGMZ
