Our Friend Paul Bungert Is Leaving!!
For anyone who may not know Paul Bungert, he came to America from Germany last summer as a foreign exchange student – and his time here in the states is coming to a close. He departs for ‘home’ June 28th. Many of us have had the privilege of meeting Paul and caching with him – in particular the AllStarSS team! Those of us who have been able to spend some time with Paul have come to realize what a special young man he really is – albeit a typical teenager in many ways! We felt we should have a little gathering to say so long and farewell (not goodbye – but maybe until we meet again) from his caching family here in Hampton Roads.
This event will be held at Chesapeake City Park Wednesday June 12th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in one of the covered pavilions – rain or shine! It will be BYOF (bring your own food) so stop by a local sandwich shop on the way or bring something from home. But please join us for some dinner, conversation, stories and I’m sure a few laughs as we wish Paul all the best before he returns to his native Deutschland! Even if you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Paul in the past year, please stop by and do so at this event – the more the merrier!
We apologize for the short notice on this event but we didn’t realize that Paul will be traveling his actual last two weeks with us in the states. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
