Last winter on a dog walk on a cold windy but sunny day I spy a container over the edge of the trail bridge full of colorful stuff. I tell the rest of what became Runaway Rabbit and 3bunnies what I saw and they cheer! They had been trying to geocache from computer descriptions for a couple months and now we had Scatterlings2. Much discussion then occured.
I pay for a download on soon to be Runaway's fancy pants phone and we can spend the afternoon Geocaching. Geocaching???? I thought the whole thing was gonna be stupid but hey it will get us outside more as a group. Wow, what has happened since. Much fun had by all.
The Scatterlings archived their cache at the old iron bridge abutments but I needed it to live on with the others in the area that got us addicted to this hobby. The hidden but not hidden. The "up and in" classic. The nice walks off the pathways that we don't undertake without purpose. We all loved their series in our backyard. Thanks.
Coords. I think I got the best of the bunch. If not look around for a hiding spot not quite in the river.
Container is a Scatterlings style of container. I sure hope I'm not offending them!
