Geocache Description:

The cache is an aluminum screw top container located in a nice historical area, The Michigan School for the Blind. On September 29,1880 they opened up the school but In 1994 the school was closed and part of it is now an elementary school. There is also a marker there where you can read more about The Michigan School for the blind during your geocaching experience.

Although the area has not been well maintained since it closed, It a neat historical place to visit. Have fun and please place the cache back where it belongs. Congratulations to DotDotDash on the FTF!
