A simple cache at the end of the canal
Cache located at Ashton Basin, which is the Preston end of the Lancaster canal, on national cycle route number 62 which is one of the 'spokes' of the new 'Guild Wheel'. The canal was originally opened in 1797 and can be navigated from this point all the way past Lancaster and up to Tewitfield.
There are some steps along the route depending on how you access the canal path.
This is our first family cache, please be gentle and ensure it's hidden properly!
