Cache placed with permission of the land owner. Please pull into the parking lot to park, do not stop on highway or in driveway. Follow additional waypoint.
A "Buck Rub" occurs late in the summer when an adult male whitetail deer (buck) enters the rut. The bucks are making a calling post for the doe's. They find a smaller tree to take out their mating aggression on, by attacking it with their horns. Scent glands at the base of their horns leaves their scent on the "rubbed" tree.
Once you have opened the cache, the hint for how to access the log and swag on black magic marker. When completed. PLEASE put back together just as you found it. (swag container tends to interfere with re-closing, please take time to re-close so water does not get in)
Area could be muddy at times.
