This geocache is part of the Gold Country Geocaching Poker Run 2013. All the fun of geocaching with an added twist; a poker run as well! Check goldtrail.com for more details. Lots of smaller lakes in this area and most of them are great for fishing, a little cold for swimming as you are around the 5000 foot level. There are a couple of resorts where boats and cabins can be rented. This is also a great camping area with many back roads leading to recreation camp sites, a great place to spend the weekend exploring the back country. Stay on the main road and you will come out on the Trans Canada Highway just west of Kamloops, or you can branch off with a good back road map you can come out on the Tunkwa Lake Road. A 4x4 will be needed on some roads. So get out into the great outdoors have fun but stay safe.
