This cache is dedicated to the best ‘worst influence’ a cacher could ask for…and it just happens to be for her birthday too!!
I have spent many a night with this wonderful LADY out on the dirt roads of Kansas. In the snow, rain, wind, and burning sun she is always right up front no matter the adventure. To ensure we are always prepared she has the ‘big bag of caching stuffs’ full of cache repair kits, extra logs, bandaids, swag, ice-packs, and non-prescription pain relievers to keep us on the hunt. She also just happens to be the best darn secretary a pack could ask for!!
One of her best attributes is that she doesn’t let a whole lot BUG her. She is patient, kind, and overly understanding. She uses her patience with her family as she juggles her hubby, her kiddos, and all her responsibilities like a skilled juggler. She has to tolerate a lot of ribbing by her closest caching family too. Don’t let all that fool you though…she hands it out just as well as she takes it and can test the patience of a professional patience-haver!!!
Lastly, this cacher is a true ROSE among the thorns. I find it ridiculous to believe that someone who could be so different from myself would turn out to be one of my finest friends. Even on topics that we have completely different views on she is able to make me feel like how I feel matters and we have the best discussions! On the flip side, she is so silly and light-hearted that we always have a good time! Those who have met her may be familiar with that little twinkle she gets in her eyes when she is ‘up to something’ which just makes her the perfect partner in crime…I mean caching…yeah, partner in caching. ;)
So to you...our buddy, our pal, our friend…this one’s for you!! Happy Birthday and many more!!!
NOTE: GZ is along a high-traffic trail running through a residential neighborhood. PLEASE use respect when retrieving the cache and replace as found so it isn't muggled. Have fun!!
