A small cache en route to the village or the services depending on approach!
The original WOTG series takes in some very pleasant but rarely used footpaths around the local area, and this short series adds an extension loop which adds perhaps an hour or so to the walk and about half a dozen new caches, including a couple in the new 'The Old Road South' series. There is even a refreshment stop half way for refueling! Please use common sense when crossing fields etc and stick to the footpaths. They are well marked apart from in a couple of places.
This cache is located on footpath 404/3 at the field boundary. The approach from the south is well marked, but if approaching from the north although the path appears to go through the field on the definitive map, a better approach seems to be by going around the edge. This is the path I used when walking the route on cache placement. You are looking for a small cache containing a log, pencil and with room for a few small goodies.
