The main entrance to St. Paul Woods on Oakton St has been blocked off for some time now, so I was taking Lehigh Ave north to the super secret back entrance to the forest preserve when I saw a building I had literally never noticed before. The cache name Commuter Cache: Castle View popped into my head right away. So I went for a run in the forest preserve and, on my way home, I stopped and placed this cache for your enjoyment.
The castle across the tracks is no longer in view so, as of May 6, 2018, the cache has been renamed accordingly.
There is, of course, no reason to approach the railroad tracks to locate this cache.
There is always some way to leave your mark on the log. Any log that indicates the finder did not sign for any reason (no pen, log full, scared off by a ghost train, etc.) will be deleted. If you visit and the cache is missing, please log a DNF so that I can check on it and replace if necessary. Dropping a replacement is NOT permitted for this hide.
