Geocache Description:

This cache forms part of a series of caches placed along a recognised heritage trail which follows the course taken by the North Cork Militia and British Cavalry, ending up at Oulart Hill, where a decisive battle took place which lit the flame that culminated in a republic being declared in Wexford and a major uprising in Wexford, Wicklow and the East Coast of Ireland.

NOTE: The need for stealth isn't as high as usual here - the cache's neighbour just loves to come out for a chat when he spots cachers looking for this cache - he also came out when I was placing the cache and I was able to explain what it was all about!

If you're walking the route, this location is close to where the old coach road loses its original unpaved state briefly though there's one further piece of unpaved route just up ahead starting shortly before the next cache in the series. Just before it joins the road, you will have passed a large equestrian centre who have paved their access route (the old coach road) in concrete.

The curious name of this cache comes from the name of this lane - Taypot Lane, which comes from a modification of the word Teapot. The phrase itself is a traditional, now little used Irish phrase, meaning "How are you?".

You're looking for a micro pill-pot small clip lock type cache with no room for swaps.
