This series of caches is being placed in honor of my wife, McCallBennett, for her 40th birthday. The locations of the caches are significant to one or both of us and relate to our relationship from our first meeting to over eight years of marriage. Happy birthday, babe!
This is where it all began.
McCall and I met while working for Citysearch.com, an early online company launched at the height of the internet boom. She was in sales, I was in customer service. It's your typical boy-shows-up-for-work-one-day-with-a-blue-mohawk-and-catches-girl's-attention-and-she-asks-him-out-and-the-rest-is-history love story. They're a dime a dozen.
The building where the cache is located has been used for several film shoots. I've also noticed it in establishing shots for reality shows like Hell's Kitchen. The iconic hanging lights can be easily noticed in the Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo movie Zodiac (2007).
The cache is a small sized, velcroed bottle. Muggles abound, and security is watchful so stealth is a must.
It took two visits (& a clearer clue or two) but finally I can write: KUDOS to carlosguerrera for not giving up, and for getting FTF on our 1st of 40 caches!
