This cache is available 7am - 6 or 7 pm depending on the season. You are looking for a small lock tight container within a short walking distance of the parking lot. The cache is large enough to hold some geocoins or small travelbugs. Cache does not currently have a pen so please bring one. The terrain is slick so please use caution. The cache is attached gently which may aide in retrieval; I promise with a little maneuvering it is accessible. Have fun!
Location is a scenic spot looking out over Lake John. The path is crossed by a fallen tree that has obviously seen use as a bench; it is perfect to sit on and watch the osprey dive for fish and yell at each other high above. Many water birds will fly around you as fish jump at the water bugs skimming across the water's surface. Take care though, so close to the water you might be carried away not by an alligator (though you may see one) but by a swarm of mosquitos. If you attract the little buggers, repellent is advised.
Enjoy this spot and the surrounding park, it is a little gem of our town!
