This cache is one of several being published for the upcoming 'Adventures in Learning' class, where we will be teaching the kids about geocaching. Because this is on the OSU campus, parking and muggles may be a challenge. Please be stealthy!
This is a very straightforward two-stage multi cache.
At the posted coordinates, you will see a blue sign with two ORS numbers on it; you need to locate the last ORS number on the sign ... the digits, in order, will need to be labeled as: ABC.DEF .
The coordinates for the final stage of the cache is:
N44 33.[A+B-C][A+E][E]
W123 17.[B+C][A+C][F+F-B]
Keep in mind that the operations shown in the square brackets will produce a single digit, which represents one digit of the final coordinates.
The checksum for the full North coordinate is 32, and for the South coordinate is 34; the checksum is calculated by adding together all of the digits in the North coordinate, and then all of the digits in the South coordinate.
You will be looking for a camo'ed peanut butter jar. It will be an easier hunt if you approach the final location from the side of the field (and not from the parking lot).
Update 8/6/15: It appears that trackables placed into this cache have been going missing, so please do not leave any trackables in this cache!
