Tunnelvisie
Bij de cache locatie is een bouwwerk dat de wijken Elderveld en Schuytgraaf met elkaar verbindt. Een prachtige visie van de gemeente Arnhem. Het bouwwerk had eind 2010 klaar moeten zijn, maar door faillissement van de aannemer en onzekerheden over de bodemgesteldheid is de bouw helaas meerdere keren stilgelegd. In april 2013 was het eindelijk mogelijk om via deze constructie te voet en met de fiets van Elderveld naar Schuytgraaf (en terug) te gaan. Bij het plaatsen van deze cache zijn de afrondende werkzaamheden nog steeds gaande.
Bij het zoeken naar een cache is het zaak geen tunnelvisie te krijgen. Concentreer je niet op één onderdeel van de omgeving, maar kijk goed om je heen. Dat geldt ook hier. De plaats die je zoekt is in de buurt van het bouwwerk. De nano cache is magnetisch, dus plaats hem a.u.b. op exact dezelfde plaats terug waar je hem gevonden hebt!
De cache locatie is niet direct bereikbaar met de auto, maar in de wijk Elderveld kan dichtbij geparkeerd worden. Mijn advies is om lekker te gaan wandelen of fietsen, want de prachtige uitwaarden bij de Rijn, de Drielse dijk en het groene park rond Elderveld zijn dichtbij. Diverse caches kunnen hier in de buurt gevonden worden.

At the cache location is a construction that connects the districts of Elderveld and Schuytgraaf. A beautiful vision of the local authorities of the City of Arnhem. The construction should have been completed at the end of 2010, but due to the fact that the contractor went broke and uncertainties about the condition of the soil, construction was suspended multiple times. In april 2013 it was finally possible to cross over from Elderveld to Schuytgraaf (and vice versa) by foot and by bike, via this construction. By the time this cache is placed, work is still going on.
When searching for a cache it is important not to catch tunnelvision. Don't concentrate on one specific detail in the surroundings, but take a good look around. That is also the case here. The spot you're looking for is near the construction. The nano cache is magnetic, so please place it back at exactly the same spot where you found it!
The cache location cannot be reached by car, but in Elderveld you can park your car very close to the cache hideout. My advice is to go hiking or cycling, because the beautiful river forelands of the Rhine, the Drielse dijk and the green park around Elderveld are close. Several caches can be found nearby.
