Geocache Description:

It that time already! Time to venture down south and have a Summer picnic, Jefferson county style!  July 27th 11am-2pm or until everyone leaves. We will arrive at 10am to get things ready, cleaned up, and start the grills. 

The picnic is at  Festus West City Park, Pavilion 11. Plenty to do at this park, fishing, caching, playgrounds, trails, and tons more. Not too mention spending time with fellow cachers on a hopefully not too hot summer day. 

Potluck style! Bring your favorite food to share, also bring your own meat to grill. We will have the grills hot and ready for everyone. Don't forget some plates, utensils, and drinks.

Let us know how many are coming, and what you are bringing to share. I will keep a list on here to help others figure out what they'd like to bring. 

Volunteers for grilling, games, and anything else that anyone would like to do is welcomed. There is electricity, water, grill, restrooms, Joachim Creek access, bike trail access, and playground equipment.
