This cache has been placed at the start of the path leading up to the cache at Boot. On the way up to Boot there are some amazing views of Windermere and surrounding fells fells.
I place a cache near Boot Cottage at the request of a resident. While in the area recently I thought I'd place another cache at the start of the path which leads up to Boot. As you ascend the path you will find great views of the surrounding area. There is a slate seat under a tree which was placed by the resident in memory of his mother who was called Annie. This was her favourite place where she liked to sit and admire the view.
