I like the rolling plains. This is a nice example of it on a small stream. The stream doesn't flow all the time, but water is in patches in the valley. You can drive to within a hundred yards of the cache. The altitude on top of the cache box is 5338 according to my GPS. To the west is a small damn, to the east is rolling plains, and up the road to the north at 41* 15.736N by 104* 15.209W is an old combine. This place has some of the greatest sunrises I have seen.
NOTE: This is the prairie, expect to see hawks, rabbits, foxes, antelope, deer, porcupines, badgers and very nice sunrises and sunsets. During the warm months be careful of the snakes, you can see them before they see you, so just be careful.
Write in the log, and take a picture. I will post the pictures later on www.pawnee.com. For a live web cam taken a few miles away from the cache goto http://www.pawnee.com/cam
