(This is the origional wording from 2002)
This is part of the Good Dog Trail. This is one of 10 caches that form a loop. Start at any point and follow the numbers for an enjoyable drive. This is a nice walk along the river. You probably won't see anyone, except maybe some people biking. Good trail for walking or bike riding. You can take the towpath all the way to Grand Rapids. Dogs welcome.
The cache area has a nice shelter house, often with a fire going in the fall and winter, well maintained (but no plumbing) rest facilities, and a goergous view. The trail is crushed rock, so winter and spring hikes have minimal mud. The box is a 3x4 lock n lock.
