Geocache Description:

This is both a physical cache and a virtual cache

The Virtual Cache:

The idea for this cache came from "A Cache of Palindromes" by Eraseek. As you can see from the coordinates above, they also follow a certain pattern. Each coordinate is a palindrome (identical if read from left to right or vice versa) but they are made up of only two numbers each. i.e. they  follow the pattern x-y-x-y-x-y-x or a-b-a-b-a-b-a.

To log this cache as a virtual, find a similar site near your home and take two photos of the spot, one of which clearly shows your GPSr with the necessary coordinates. Near misses will be accepted if the cause is justified, for example, private property, middle of a pond or river, put please try to keep it down to less than 50 metres

Sorry to say, but if your coordinates are between 59° and 101° then this cache doesn't work with the DD MM.MMM format, but you can also use the DD.DDDDD format which will at least solve the problem for some of you.

Please note that logs without the required photos will be deleted!

The Physical Cache.

This is at the coordinates given above and the grades of difficulty and terrain refer to this physical cache. The cache is located about 25km NW of the historical city of Uppsala. I suggest you park your car (or bike) at the following coordinates: N 59° 59.725 and E 17° 16.947. There is a crude bridge near this point which will get you over to the right side of the river. From the parking place it is about 250 metres to the cache and it is mixed terrain: swamp, rocks and thick forrest and bush. In other words, it's no Sunday stroll, so go prepared with good boots or shoes.

The cache is a 1 litre plastic sandwich box with a yellow lid
