Naugatuck Trail and Fire Road easy walking along a fire road to the cache.some of the road is up hill but not to bad, easy for kids tuffer for old people like me. about one mile. nice for mountian bikes.
Use exit 25 off route 8. This is the Cross street exit.From Cross st.turn right onto Andrasko road Right next to exit ramp. Park on left at pull off or next to gate on right DO NOT BLOCK GATE. This is the entrance to the Naugatuck Trail. The coordinates to park your car are 41°28.102N, 073°03.007W
Hike the Blue Blazed trail from the gate Which followes route 8 for about half the distance to the cache. The Fire road the rest of the way. The blue trail will leave the fire road but you stay on the road to the cache. You also can take the path along the stream it will return to the road farther up, this makes for a nicer hike. The cache location can be seen from the road from 75 feet away.
You will have to hop the little stream to get to the cache.
