Geocache Description:

This is a short series of Hides dedicated to those of you who don't mind a little dabble on the horses, or indeed, are just fond of magnificent thoroughbreds.

*** Welcome to ***
*** Leopardstown Racecourse ***

The  series is similar to an actual horse race with caches placed to represent 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, etc.  You will start at one end of the racecourse and finish at the far end.

The entire series may (or may not) be deployed before each individual cache is published    So feel free to "search ahead"...

How many horses are in the race? Well all I can say is that the race is 12 furlongs long. And everyone knows the rules for Geocaching, right!?

THE HORSE
The 6th-placed horse is an old grey nag with white speckles.  Over the life of its career it has become renowned for hugging the fence-line while racing... especially on the straights.  It always keeps to the right-side of the rest of the Pack.
