Big congrats goes out to webforage for his very 1st FTF! Way to be persistent! This area is used for OHV staging. There is a pit toilet restroom available. Not too far from Big Lake. A great place to ride for miles and miles on an ATV, motorcycle or 4x4 vehicle!
We like to come up and ride our ATVs in this area. Some beautiful views of Mt. Washington, Mt. Jefferson, Three Fingered Jack, and the Sisters mountains can be found from trails leading from this area. The name of the cache is due to the tremendous amount of mosquitoes who were flying around the area when we went to place the cache. Don't be afraid - we've been up here several times before and the bugs weren't bad at all! Not sure why they were out in full-force on the day we placed the cache.
You are looking for a somewhat unique container that is between a micro and small in size. DNFs will be provided with more clues if wanted...indicate in your description, but hopefully it won't be too hard.
