The cache is located near to the M56, but you cannot access the M56 from the cache site! A drive through the nearby village of Hatton reveals a quiet pub, recycling centre, phonebox library and some quaint Cheshire cottages. Why not park and explore the local area? Look out for Old Bob's cottage and the clock in the bus shelter.
When you have finished exploring Hatton, follow the bendy road to the end. There is plenty of room for parking, but mind the buses. The cache is small and contains a log and a pencil, please leave the pencil behind. There is no room for TBs or swaps. This old road used to connect up to the road on the other side of the motorway before being carved in half by the M56. If you look on an old map, you can see exactly where it ran!
