Geocache Description:

While you're waiting for a bygone train or taking a break from your walk, spend some time looking for this nano sized cache

Running from East Street to Fruit Street in Mansfield, the bike path rests upon a tract of land formerly occupied by a portion of the Old Colony Railway that stretched from Mansfield to Taunton. During the Second World War, an estimated one million soldiers passed through Mansfield along this route – not on foot or by bicycle – but in Pullman cars bound for the Camp Myles Standish, a U.S. Army camp located in nearby Taunton. You can learn more about the Mansfield Bike Path, soldiers and chocolate at. NOTE** please do not rehide the cache under the trash barrel. http://www.wickedlocal.com/bridgewater/town_info/history/x2023189676/A-path-to-war-no-more
