Personally, at the end of the hike, it's about the hike, location and cache contents. I hate hiking in, just to find a log!
There are many things to see along the way and the views are amazing!
I have given a waypoint to start from, if you choose to use it. There are multiple approaches for you to choose from. If you choose to start at the waypoint, you can pick up and follow a game trail to the the cache. It is intermittent at times but, if you use your powers of observation and reason it should be easy to stay on track.
I'm not sure how long it takes to get there as I was exploring on the way in but, it took me 23 minutes to get back to my vehicle. It is approx .9 miles to the cache, in dry conditions. Remember, trail condtions can change dramatically when moisture is added. A person could do this in the winter with the right gear and desire.
The FTF, obviously, has first pick from the contents, just please don't leave the cache emtpy for the next cacher. No junky stuff, please.
Starting contents: 1- new set of tags, 1- Theodore Roosevelt NP walking stick emblem, 1- Theodore Roosevelt NP coin,1- rechargeable electronic lighter, 1- Geocoin (mine), log, and pen.
