CharlieRona: It is with mixed emotions that we must archive this part of the Pine Lake Micro trail. We've had repeated landowner confrontations, complaints that geocachers have opened gates and left the cows out, bush eaters and road graders, and stashes of drug paraphernalia along the trail. We hope that you enjoy the run while it lasted!

Geocache Description:

This is part 2 of the 2013 continuation of our Pine Lake Micro series – while not exactly a power trail - it will certainly help your numbers. We had a few (OK, maybe more than a few) cache containers left over from last time so we’ve added a few more caches for your enjoyment.

Pine Lake is home to many year round residents, winter ice fisherman plus a huge influx of summer weekend campers. We thought that we would place some caches near the lake for all of you weekend warriors.

This trail consists of mostly micro size caches with a few regular size caches thrown in just to keep things interesting. Most of them should be fairly easy to find. We know that you have other things to do at the lake besides caching. (I can’t image what could be more important than caching!)

Please bring your own pencil. All caches are within 3 meters of the road. You do not have to cross any fence lines, open any gates, or go onto private property. Please be respectful of the property owners. Even though there is not a lot of traffic on these roads, please be courteous and pull all the way over so that other cars can pass. And last but not least, please re-hide the cache exactly as you found it so that the next cacher can enjoy the run too.
