Potts Corners was a close knit hamlet on the corner of Weister Creek and Cty P. It had a church, school, store and auto repair shop. Art Nelson ran a garage there from 1942 until the early 1970's, when they had to sell out for the dam project.
North of CTY HWY P and Weister Creek was the location of the Nelson Garage. Summertime can find this area quite overgrown with weeds, though is is mowed periodically. You are looking for a replica of somehing that may have spent time at Nelson's.
Permission to place this cache was given by the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, where a copy of the Geocache Placement Notification Form is on file.
