Located by Cottonwood natural area (Thus, derives part of the title from this fact, so don't be looking for a cottonwood tree) It is just three paces off of a secondary trail.
I had my eye on this area for a while, but at first was having difficulty finding a place that would not disturb the natural beauty of the area, and yet was out of the view of muggles. I came across a well established secondary trail that leads back into the area. Trail head is guarded by two medium sized rocks, just off of Douglas.
The cache container is a black camo'd pill bottle, now of micro size. Covered slightly.
