This Cache is part of a series around Brockholes Nature Reserve.
It is a small ClipLock box, original contents: Small Pencil, Log Book, Opencaching coin, Plastic Insect, FTF Badge.
This cache is located near a hide overlooking Meadow Lake. Pleas be quiet while retreiving this cache, there may be people in the hide!
This shallow lake is great for bird watching: when the water level is down, wading birds feed on small invertebrates in the exposed mud. The reed fringes are becoming well established and hold some of the largest populations of birds on site. Please rehide this cahce well!
The cache is close to a Public Footpath & the Guild Wheel Route.

Car Parking is available free for 20mins but parking charges do apply afterwards (£1 for hr). Access to the site is 24hrs on foot, but the car park is locked between the hours of 8pm & 6am.
