Geocache Description:

Operation Dino Lift!

A fun cache for Kids of All Ages!

Back in 1974, while studying Dinosaur Linguistics (Dino Speak), and Dinosaur Logistics (The movement of Dino herds.) I was able to participate on several Michigan Dinosaur Digs, before I dropped out from Dino University....... This site was one of our largest digs. Approximately 329,200 square feet in size and 10 meters deep at the largest section.

You can park at our old camp parking area. At this spot still stands our old Dino jack! We used this tool to lift the heavy dino bones up out of the pit with. I am surprised that the Camp Operations Manager left this valuable equipment behind! The walk is all up hill from this fine parking spot.

The cache is a small lock n lock.

I have placed some of my dinosaur bones near the cache from my dino bone collection. Kids can take a bone home with them if they would like to do so. The cache is a plastic lock n lock, filled with good stuff. Many bones are from a Macrophalansia.

DINOSAUR FACTS:

Macrophalansia-
Meet Eaters, Fast! They could hit 40 KM / Hr in speed! Great sense of smell. They could smell prey from 3 KM away! They had infrared sense and hunted during the day and night! Hunted in packs from 10 to 20 units. 1200 to 2270 lbs. each in weight. Always Hungry!

Majungatholus- Plant Eaters, 7' Tall, 9'8" Long, 375 Lbs. Slow, A herd of over 6 was rare. Liked water areas. A dangerous area to be around. Moving top speed~ 12 MPH. , Likes Salads. (Hard on trees in their area.) I might not like this type of dinosaur!

Don't worry moms, these bones have no germs. They are over 67,000,000 years old from the late Cretaceous Period.

The first TWO Finders will have their names listed here as Fastest Cachers in this Region!
