Geocache Description:

ANNIE PRIOR RESERVE

This is our first cache ... we wanted to create something close to home and in a place for families to enjoy.

Annie Prior reserve is not too far from home and has recently had the play equipment upgraded and the kids will love it.

We have not been able to find too much information on Annie Prior and who she was, however, we believe that she was one of the original landowners in the Glenhaven area. Amongst the bush land that surrounds the park you can find the remains of the fence line to her property. It's quite amazing how well it has stood up to the test of time.

If anyone else has any information on Annie Prior please share when logging the cache.

If you do go looking please do not disturb the remnants and leave them as they are. There is no need to go near them to find the cache.

The little container is camouflaged. It looks like something else, something sort of natural. You don't have to dig and you don't have to climb trees. You can just crawl right up to it!

Bring your own pen, grab a seat, sign the log and enjoy the park

NOTE: Co-ordinates were taken with an iPhone over several visits to the location and averaged out. If they are too far off but you still find the cache please let me know and I will update them
