2013 Geocaching Challenge 6/28/13 - 5/31/14
A challenge has been created for 2013! Come explore the Aitkin County parks, trails, and waterways.
To play: Collect all 24 wooden nickels to receive a special reward.
Final prize: Bring the 24 different wooden nickels to the Land Department Office in the Aitkin County Courthouse 209 2nd St NW, Room 206, Aitkin, MN 56431
Watch out for Poison Ivy! An ATV is not necessary to enjoy this cache. If you have an ATV, the Rabey ATV trail was once a railroad bed that traversed the tamarack and black spruce bogs of glacial lake upham. It is now part of the Northwoods ATV Trail system with over 200 miles of interconnected ATV trails in Aitkin County alone.
