2013 Geocaching Challenge 6/28/13 - 5/31/14
A challenge has been created for 2013! Come explore the Aitkin County parks, trails, and waterways.
To play: Collect all 24 wooden nickels to receive a special reward.
Final prize: Bring the 24 nickels to the Land Department Office in the Aitkin County Courthouse 209 2nd St NW, Room 206, Aitkin, MN 56431
An ATV is not necessary to enjoy this cache. If you have an ATV, the North Soo Line trail is part of the Northwoods ATV Trail system with over 200 miles of interconnected ATV trails in Aitkin County alone. Palisade is an old river town and is home to the Berglund Campground run by Aitkin County. Sites include electricity and access to showers and picnic pavilion. Enjoy your visit!
