Geocache Description:

This should be an easy hike for the whole family.  RT distance is about 5.5 mi. with minimal (+/-500') elevation change.  There should be enough variety in the scenery and terrain to keep the kids entertained. As with previous PP late-summer hikes (Goat Lake, Lake Valhalla), there will be a souvenir for each hiker.

Plodding Pokily to Ashland Lakes
This event is a Meet 'n' Greet--have some breakfast, meet other cachers, and trade caching stories. The D/T rating above is for the hike. The event itself is probably 1/1.5.

Afterwards we hope you will join us on an easy hike to three lakes in the Morning Star Natural Resource Conservation Area, where there are a number of caches to be found.
