Grave di Papadopoli è il nome di un'isoletta lambita dal Piave e compresa nei comuni di Maserada, Cimadolmo e, in minima parte, Spresiano.
L'isola si è formata nel 1882 in seguito a un'alluvione che suddivise il corso del fiume in due rami. Quanto al toponimo, Grave ("ghiaie") si riferisce alla natura sassosa del luogo, mentrePapadopoli ricorda la ricca famiglia veneziana che ne fu proprietaria durante l'Ottocento.
Durante la prima guerra mondiale, dopo la disfatta di Caporetto e l'arrivo degli Austriaci sul Piave, venne considerata terra di nessuno, ovvero un lembo di terra che faceva da cuscinetto tra il fronte italiano ed austriaco.

Grave of Papadopoli is the name of an island lapped by the Piave and including the municipalities of Maserada, Cimadolmo and, minimally, Spresiano.
The island was formed in 1882 after a flood that divided the river into two branches. As for the name, Grave ("gravel") refers to the rocky nature of the place, while Papadopoli reminds the wealthy Venetian family who owned it during the nineteenth century.
During the First World War, after the defeat of Caporetto and the arrival of the Austrians on the Piave, it was considered no man's land, which is a strip of land that served as a buffer between the Italian and Austrian front.
