Around the Bend from Shady Bend Traditional Cache

Heartland Cacher: Greetings I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache which makes it appear the Cache Owner is either unwilling or unable to maintain the cache. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. The cache will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

"If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived."

Geocache Description:

I now have 100 finds under my belt so I decided to make this my first hide so hope this all works out!! This Cache is located along a tree line that I have been watching for quite some time it is on the edge of some private property and permission is granted!! You can park along Shady Bend road there is a side lane and the Cache is not to far just watch out for traffic and for muggles!!

p>This Cache is just around the bend from Shady Bend which I think definitely a piece of Grand Island History!! Which has been a tavern in recent decades and has recently reopened as a bar and grill.The business was started in 1929 and grew to include gas, food, and lodging in more than 30 tourist cabins, but the most famous of its attractions was a buffalo herd. Still, the Shady Bend Gas Station, Grocery and Diner is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
