The first of the month has come to be known as “Kablooey Day” at our house; my family knows that I will be anxiously awaiting the publication of a new puzzle and that getting me to focus on anything else could be tricky until I have it solved. So, I usually know what I’m going to be doing on those days.
On most days, though, I’m not that predictable. I rarely do the same things every day, or even every month on the same day. I couldn’t swear I’ve even managed to get my teeth brushed every day for the last ten years. I did put out a puzzle cache every month for a couple of years, but found it difficult to keep finding good spots to place them. Coming up with high quality puzzles every month is not easy, and I’ve often asked myself about kablooey: “How Does He Do That?!”
Although we haven’t yet met in person, I maintain a puzzle cache Coast-To-Coast(Eastbound) for him here in New York. I was originally worried about logging it, since I placed it myself, but as he very rightly told me: “Just because you know the coordinates doesn’t mean you know how to solve the puzzle.” Since he kindly agreed to place this cache for me when I asked him if he'd return the favor, I hope he will be willing to log it himself, once he has solved the puzzle. It is nowhere near as complex or elegantly done as his; at best, perhaps it might remind you of some of them.
You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
