Matchstick in camo and a magnet!
The Sunflower State has been more or less adopted as state nickname of Kansas. This is cache #9 in a series of 27 caches honoring Kansas and Nebraska state symbols along State Line Road.
There was little information about when this nickname was adopted. As with most nicknames I have the feeling it was said over and over and well, it just felt right, so it stuck. Enjoy the cache and the series!
