Located in a park oasis in east Palma, Mallorca’s bustling capital city, is the gothic-style Bellver Castle. The 14th century rare circular castle, which was built for King James II of Mallorca, sits on a hill overlooking the majestic Port de Palma. With a population of 401,270, you will need to be careful not to be seen.

At the castle, there is a big parking lot. From here, pass the fortress and a little café on the left-hand side. Continue on the right along the outer wall until you find a small passage on a little hill…
