Cranberry Hill Cache

I decided today was a great day to plant caches. I started out by parking at a parking lot on the Long Path Trail, The location for parking is 41 18.991 and 074 03.051. At this point on the trail ( 41 18.699, 074 03.571 ) there is a fork , keep right and go down toward the marshy bottom. From that fork Cranberry Hill is 160 degrees, (magnetic) and about 1361 feet away. The round trip mileage is about 3+ miles. Tis the season, don’t forget the bug juice and drinking water.

At this point you’ll leave the trail approach the cache, ( 41 18.436 074 04.214 ) , you could keep going up the hill and look at the shelters ( 41 18.201 074 04.524 and 41 18.021 074 04.679) The first one is a natural cave / rock formation and the second is man made.

There is another cache within walking distance of the man made shelter. It is 1.4 miles from the Cranberry cache.

If you wanted you could take two cars. Park one at the beginning and one at ( 41 17.644 074 03.842 )the end of the trail. This hike would be about 3.15 miles one way.
