Dieser Cache ist Teil einer 18-teiligen Serie mit Bonus, die anlässlich des KulturEvents GC46NCD "Alte Spuren - Neue Wege" am 27.07.2013 veröffentlicht wurde. Inhalt dieser Serie ist das Kunst- und Kulturprojekt Mühlviertler Kernland-Schaufenster der Leader-Region Mühlviertler Kernland. In 18 Gemeinden sind an einem Platz im Ortszentrum künstlerische Inszenierungen zu sehen, die alle paar Monate wechseln.
Das Kernland-Schaufenster in Unterweitersdorf am 28.6.2013

Auf dem Unterweitersdorfer Gemeindegebiet befinden sich einige sehr schöne Marterl und eins der kleinsten "Kircherl" Österreichs - eigentlich eine Privatkapelle, aber mitten am Dorfplatz. Dieser Rundgang zeigt euch einige davon. Achtung: Bitte beachtet die Fahrverbote und geht die kleine Runde zu Fuß!
STAGE 1: Beginnt beim Schaufenster (im Gemeindeamt) bei
N1 = 48° 22.081
E1 = 014° 28.022.
Bitte macht ein Foto des Schaufensters und ladet es mit Datumsangabe hoch; damit wird das Schaufenster und dessen Ausstellungen für spätere Besucher dokumentiert.
Ganz in der Nähe findet ihr das Kriegerdenkmal. Wie alt wurde Johann Matzinger in Jahren? (= A)
STAGE 2: Geht nun zum Kircherl bei
N2 = 48° 22.024
E2 = 014° 28.066.
Bitte bleibt auf der Straße, das Kircherl steht auf Privatgrund. Ihr seht von der Straße gut die eiserne Gittertür. Lest die Jahreszahl ab (links und rechts von den Buchstaben "LP") und bildet die Ziffernsumme für B.
STAGE 3: Geht nun zum Marterl bei
N3 = 48° 22.110
E3 = 014° 28.051.
Welches geometrische Symbol befindet sich über dem Bild? Ein Kreis: C = 3; ein Quadrat: C = 6; ein Dreieck: C = 9.
STAGE 4: Nun geht es bergauf. Bleibt am mit "U1" gekennzeichneten Weg, bis ihr bei
N4 = 48° 22.231
E4 = 014° 28.190
zum nächsten Marterl kommt. Welches Datum befindet sich auf der Plakette "D' Woidandacht"? Wandelt den Monat in eine Zahl um und nehmt die Ziffernsumme von Tag, Monat und Jahr für D.
STAGE 5: Genießt auf dem Weg zum nächsten Kleindenkmal die Aussicht über Unterweitersdorf und das Tal der Kleinen Gusen. Bei
N4 = 48° 22.164
E4 = 014° 27.892
findet ihr eine kleine Kapelle. Wie viele Bilder stehen oder hängen im Inneren? (= E)
Nun ist es nicht mehr weit zum Cache. Ihr findet ihn bei
NC = 48° 22.(D*(A-E)-B*C-A+E)
EC = 014° 27.(A*D+B*C+A+B-E*E).
Bitte bleibt bis auf die letzten Meter zum Cache immer auf den Wegen. Die Wege sind gut zum Wandern, aber nicht durchgehend kinderwagentauglich. Für den Rückweg könnt ihr denselben Weg wählen oder bei Stage 5 (auf dem Rückweg) nach rechts gehen und einen Rundweg daraus machen.
Für die Erstfinder befindet sich ein Gutschein für einen Gratiseintritt in die Landesausstellung sowie eine FTF-Urkunde im Cache, die beide im Rahmen des Events am 27.7.2013 von 17:00-20:00 im Salzhof in Freistadt gegen eine Eintrittskarte sowie eine Event-Geocoin getauscht werden können.

Unterweitersdorf: Churches und Wayside Shrines
This cache is part of a series of 18 cultural caches with a bonus cache. It was published in connection with the international event GC46NCD "Old Traces - New Paths" on July 27, 2013. All locations honor the local cultural project Window to the Mühlviertel Heartland displaying art at old market places in the region.
Within the Unterweitersdorf municipality, there are some very nice wayside shrines and one of the smallest "churches" of Austria - actually a private chapel, but located smack in the center of the town square. This walk will show you some of these shrines. Attention: Please observe the driving restrictions and walk the short round!
STAGE 1: Begin at the display window (in the municipal office) at

Please take a picture of the display and attach it to your log; so the display window and its exhibited items will be documented for future visitors.

It is not far to the cache now. You will find it at

Please stay on the trails until the last few meters to the cache. The trails are in excellent hiking condition, but not all are suited for prams. For the way back you can choose the same paths or you turn right at stage 5 (on the way back) and you will enjoy a loop trail back to the header coordinates.
For the first finders there is a voucher for a free entry to the provincial exhibition as well as a FTF certificate in the cache. Both can be exchanged during the event on July 27, 2013, between 17:00 and 20:00 in the Salzhof in Freistadt for a free entry pass to the provincial exhibition and an event geocoin.
