We paddle these waters several times each season and each time something different awaits us. It is for the most part a quiet, flat paddle, with wildlife ranging from deer and beavers to Pileated Woodpeckers. The ever present marsh birds and reptiles, along with the necessary bug population during the warmer months. When we placed this cache the water level was where it should be, but in spite of this you will have to exit your watercraft and be prepared to get your feet wet, there is no other way. You are in for a little over 4 miles in paddling depending on your selected launch point. The cache is only reachable by water, both sides of the creek here are private property.
If you launch your vessel from the State Park boat launch there may be a fee dependent on the time of day and the time of year.
At the final you are seeking a small pill container you will need to bring your own writing utensil. Be careful when retrieving the container from its location.
Waypoint one does not need to be removed to secure the coords for the final.
Good luck and enjoy the trip.
