ghs: Well, crud. Sorry about that. (See above log. I don't understand how logs get ordered the way they do.)

Geocache Description:

An uncharacteristic ghs container at an uncharacteristic spot.

About a kajillion years ago, my mom and I made a midnight marauding run to the north for an FTF. We got it. And then I did something uncharacteristic of me. I took the FTF prize. It was all the more uncharacterisitic of me because, although it was a geocache "container," it was of the type that I wouldn't ordinarilly place and don't really even enjoy looking for. (Nothing personal to those who like those things.) About the only reason I can come up with for taking it is because I didn't want the next visitor to the cache up north to think that they were the FTF because the FTF prize was still there and then have their hopes dashed. Well, it's taken me forever to get it placed, and this is my third attempt. (There are at least 2 coats each of at least 3 different colors of paint on it. And in time, you may get to see all of them.) Thanks to Adam Rootbeer for the cache and my apologies to him for taking so long. I've rated it the way I feel about these tricksy things when I encounter them. I've seen them rated much lower, however, and people with experience with the things may not have much trouble. But I think difficulty stars are supposed to apply to everybody, not just people who've been around the proverbial block a few times.

It took a little work to get my electronic dingbat over some sort of hang up with the power lines. I hope I succeeded and I hope they leave yours alone. (That might be a hint.)

And I got even more uncharacteristic by putting it at a spot where you might have to be careful in order to avoid an audience, mostly in cars. But hopefully, they'll be paying attention to the road and not you. There is plenty of parking available.

Please put it back exactly as you found it. (That's a hint too.)

Note that I turned the wheelchair accessible icon on. I believe that a person in a wheelchair savvy enough to go out geocaching could probably manage to get to the cache if the grass is dry enough for the ground to be firm. But that's sort of irrelevant. I would prefer if no one in a wheelchair/mobility enhancer/whatever does anything to risk getting stuck or have any sort of issue here (or anywhere else, for that matter). The cache should be visible from the nearby asphalt. If you see the cache, don't feel obligated to get bureaucratic with the logsheet. If you have any questions about what you found, email me.
