This cache is in honor of the Loxley Public Library. The building that houses this library was once the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Loxley, AL.
Cache is small lock-n-lock. It does hold some goodies & a Loxley Library USA trackable (since the cache was placed on July 4, 2013). Log is there to sign; please BYOP. Congrats to Ian's Dad on being FTF!!!
Some stealth will be required depending on the time of day you search for this cache. Please remember police may question you if you are doing this too late at night. Happy Caching!
This building originally housed St. Patrick's Catholic Church and was built in 1924. The building is significant as it is one of three ornamental concrete block churches in Baldwin County. It is also significant for its style, scale, and distinct stylistic use of vague medieval references. These were rare elements in rural Loxley at the time.
