921紀念公園原為財政廳、主計處、民政廳及社會處合署辦公廳處，921大地震後廳舍化成廢墟，為了表達對大自然的敬畏之心，原地興建為感恩紀念公園，園內綠茵草皮，春風微微，是一處開放懷想的空間。
