Geocache Description:

On rare occasions, we would make the trip down to Marshall Falls from our cabin on Marshall Lake where were we used to spend the whole summer.  Catching some 16" Dolly Vardens was an interesting change from the 12" Rainbow Trout that we caught at the lake.

The rickety old wooden bridge is now concrete and the dirt road to Goldbridge is now paved, but the falls look the same almost 40 years later.

Ah... the memories!

On Canada Day this year, my brother and I were making the trip back home from the cabin with our families (our wives and 6 pinkerton boys) and we stopped here for a picnic lunch.  I hid a cache to mark the occasion.

The GPSr wasn't getting a great signal here, but the cache is easy to find - look for a L&L under rocks in a stump in the "cave" to the east of the falls.

Take a break in your drive and enjoy the spray from the falls.
