This cache has been archived.

Cache-tech:

As there's been no communication from the cache owner, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Thank you

Geocache Description:

Cache is a medium size container. It contains a log book, FTF prize, and the usual swag!

Here in Newfoundland it is common to hear someone say, "Come walk a ways with me", when they want company on a stroll. The Walk-A-Ways nature trail is a series of interconnected trails dedicated to the health and relaxation of those who use it. Ned's Pond Meander is one part of this trail. It is 1.7 km long and should take about 30-40 minutes to complete the trail.

After parking at the trailhead above Maryland Drive, take the trail and after 50-60 meters branch to the left. Another 50-60 meters will bring you to an open area. The old weather station will be on the left and a gravel bank on the right. The cache is located in the rocks at the bottom of this bank.

Continue along the trail and it will bring you back again. There is at least one other cache along this route.
